One of the most comprehensive museums of modern and contemporary art in the United States is located at San Francisco, California that offers a flourishing cultural center for the Bay Area. The exceptional accumulation of painting, sculpture, photography, architecture, design, and media arts, is nestled in a LEED Gold-certified structure produced by the global architects Snøhetta and Mario Botta. In addition to the seven showroom floors, SFMOMA offers 45,000 square feet of open, art-filled public space open to all.
SFMOMA thinks the art of that time is important and bestows it with passion and desire, and that art and the artistic process can free minds and help develop a more genuine world. For that idea, they gather unparalleled acquisitions, formulate exhilarating exhibitions, and produce engaging public programs that unite with the community.
